Flange Pressure-Temperature Ratings

How this calculation works: Flange Pressure-Temperature Ratings — Companion Article

Flange pressure and temperature

Material group, class, and temperature give the allowable pressure. The other way, a pressure and a temperature give the lowest stored class that meets them. Ratings are the interim chart in psig and °F. Groups 1.1, 2.1, and 2.2 are the Texas Flange tables. Groups 1.2, 1.9, 1.10, 1.15, and 2.3 are the PipeData tables. Other groups named on the Texas Flange material list have no rating table on this page. A Celsius entry is converted to Fahrenheit before the lookup. Kilopascal is psig times 6.895, the factor printed on the source page. Bar(g) is that kilopascal figure divided by 100. These tables are interim data from public sources, pending the licensed standard.
