What this tool does
Standards Index is a searchable list of common piping codes and standards. Each card has a short title, a one-line scope written by us, and a link to the publisher.
When to use it
Use it to find which document covers a topic, or to explain a reference to a new designer.
Inputs
- Search text, such as B31.3 or orifice.
- Publisher filter.
How it works
The list covers ASME B31, B16 and B36 publications, plus API, MSS, EN and ISO items used on piping work.
Understanding the result
Search B31.3 and you get one card, Process plant piping.
Engineering considerations
- The index tells you where to look. It does not replace reading the current edition.
Example
Search for orifice with the ASME filter on, and you get B16.36.
